BloxShield

Overview

BloxShield and our patrons have worked very hard to come up with a network of users that either partake in exploitation of communities, reselling assets, stealing assets, or partaking in anything harmful to developers. Staff at BloxShield is dedicated to ensuring that everyone maintains a safe environment for their player base.

Challenges

BloxShield's hardest challenge was building a baseline database for users to depend on. BloxShield's staff and contributors work hard to review reports, find users, and log server and or users who violate the BloxShield Terms of Service.

In Depth

When an account is restricted by BloxShield, it indicates that the system detected activity associated with Discord communities involved in leaks, cheating, or unauthorized reselling within the Roblox platform. This may occur if a user was present in such a server, shared related content, or was reported by another member for suspected involvement.

BloxShield functions as a moderation and security layer designed to protect Discord communities from these networks. Servers that utilize BloxShield automatically prevent access to accounts listed as restricted. To regain access, users are required to submit a Blacklist Appeal ticket and complete the review process.

Being placed on the restricted list is not a confirmation of wrongdoing. It simply reflects that the account was at some point connected to activity or environments that triggered the system’s detection filters. Flags are applied through a combination of automated systems and manual review processes, all aligned with Discord’s Terms of Service.
